NO SMOKING

FIRE PITS & Bonfires are PROHIBITED.

NO PETS
When a pet is discovered you will be asked to remove the pet. Bringing a pet will result in the following charges: 1. Extermination 2. A thorough cleaning of the dwelling.  3. Any damages.

GRILLS: Charcoal and gas grills are provided. Fuel is your responsibility. Please clean grills after use.

RESERVATIONS
Returning guests have first choice for the following year. Although deposits of 25% are not accepted until January 1 of the calendar year in which you are reserving, the sooner a reservation is made for the following year, the more assured you are of keeping your week. Cancellations for in-season reservations must be made before May 1, baring emergencies, and 1 month before during the off season holidays, and a week before during the rest of the off-season at the risk of loss of deposit.

UTILITIES
No boat, motor home or any other device or equipment may be supplied power or other utility service from any of the rental units for any reason.

CHILDREN
Please attend to your children. Neither Grandview nor any Grandview guest will be held responsible for the unsupervised children of another guest. Unsupervised children may not use the pool, the docks, the boats or boathouse at any time.

POOL
The pool is used on an at your own risk basis. Grandview recommends that no one swim in the pool alone and children under the age of 13 may not use the pool unless supervised by a responsible adult over the age of 18. The pool is open from May 1 to September 30 and the hours are 9:00 AM until dusk.

BOATS
***We are no longer providing row boats.*** There are several local boat rental options. Please ask for details. All boating or water activities are done at your own risk. You may store small boats inside the boat house. Please be sure to secure them accordingly. Children under 18 years of age may not use the boats without adult supervision. There is a small boat ramp on the side of the boat house which you may use to put your boat in the water. 

Larger boats can be launched at the public dock in Neavitt for a nominal fee to Talbot County.

PIERS
There are two piers, neither is specifically assigned.  You may bring your own boat subject to approval by the management and the utility provision in the policies.

CRABBING AND FISHING
You are required to obtain your own licenses for recreational crabbing in addition to fishing if doing either activity off of the dock.

ENTRANCE
The entrance off of Bozman Neavitt Road (Hwy 579) is an easement. Please drive slowly (10 mph) so as to not stir up dust and debris for the houses adjacent to the easement.

ALL RENTAL UNITS ARE TO BE LEFT IN A CLEAN AND ORDERLY FASHION
Trash is to be bagged in plastic bags and put into the dumpster.  A vacuum, broom and some cleaning supplies are provided. If you finish the supplies please replace them. If you do not clean up after yourself, you will be billed for the extra time needed to clean up after you and your party.

DAMAGES
Please report any damages promptly to Tommy 410.745.6267 or Anne 717.396.0474. If you don’t report damages, they cannot be fixed efficiently. As Grandview has many bookings throughout the year, please have respect for those that will be staying in the dwelling after you have rented. You would be just as upset finding  something damaged or broken when you arrive as they would be. Thank you!
We will keep a credit card on file that will be charged in the event of damage or the need for extra cleaning.

PARKING
Please park on the left side of the lane (opposite the cottages). The underground utility lines for the cottages are in front of the cottages and could be damaged driving on the cottage side.
