Please attend to your children. Neither Grandview nor any Grandview guest will be held responsible for the unsupervised children of another guest. Unsupervised children may not use the pool, the docks, the boats or boathouse at any time.

The pool is used on an at your own risk basis. Grandview recommends that no one swim in the pool alone and children under the age of 13 may not use the pool unless supervised by a responsible adult over the age of 18. The pool is open from May 1 to September 30 and the hours are 9:00 AM until dusk.

All boating or water activities are done at your own risk. The boat house is open for your convenience. There are 4 - 14 FT. rowboats for use by the house and cottage guests. Please return the boat to the boat house, all associated equipment in the proper storage place and tie the boat according to the instructions posted on the boathouse wall. Children under 18 years of age may not use the boats without adult supervision. Boats are licensed for up to 7 HP motors. Motors are not supplied but may be placed on the boat by the user on an “at your own risk” basis. Users are responsible for all damage to the boats, themselves and all other property. There is a small boat ramp on the side of the boat house which you may use to put your boat in the water.

Larger boats can be launched at the public dock in Neavitt for a nominal fee to Talbot County.

There are two piers, neither is specifically assigned.  You may bring your own boat subject to approval by the management and the utility provision in the policies.

You are required to obtain your own licenses for recreational crabbing in addition to fishing if doing either activity off of the dock.

The entrance off of Bozman Neavitt Road (Hwy 579) is an easement. Please drive slowly (10 mph) so as to not stir up dust and debris for the houses adjacent to the easement.

Trash is to be bagged in plastic bags and put into the dumpster.  A vacuum, broom and some cleaning supplies are provided. If you finish the supplies please replace them. If you do not clean up after yourself, you will be billed for the extra time needed to clean up after you and your party.

Please report any damages promptly to Tommy 410.745.6267 or Anne 717.392.4876 or 717.396.9735. If you don’t report damages, they cannot be fixed efficiently. As Grandview has many bookings throughout the year, please have respect for those that will be staying in the dwelling after you have rented. You would be just as upset finding  something damaged or broken when you arrive as they would be. Thank you!
We will keep a credit card on file that will be charged in the event of damage or the need for extra cleaning.

Please park on the left side of the lane (opposite the cottages). The underground utility lines for the cottages are in front of the cottages and could be damaged driving on the cottage side.
